Size hierarchy determines which images should anchor the board and which should support. The algorithm evaluates images by composition strength, colour richness, and thematic centrality. Strong compositions become large anchors. Supporting images become smaller tiles around the anchors. This prevents the beginner mistake of treating all images as equal, which produces a uniform grid where nothing stands out.

Layout spacing arranges the hierarchy onto a board with intentional gaps and clusters. Similar images get spread apart so the eye does not get stuck. Contrasting images get placed near each other for visual interest. White space is distributed so the board breathes.
