Will this slow down my Chromebook?
No more than any other web app. The editor uses the browser's canvas APIs which are optimised on ChromeOS. Older or lower-spec Chromebooks may take a few seconds longer to render very large photos, but everything remains usable. For snapshot-sized photos, the performance is indistinguishable from a desktop machine.
Can my school block this editor?
In theory any domain can be blocked, but in practice photo-editing web apps are rarely on block lists because they have clear educational use. If your school does block it, ask a teacher to whitelist it, since blocking productivity tools usually has no active rationale and is just an overly broad category filter.
Is this allowed at my workplace?
